Chelsea FC appoints dedicated meeting & events head chef

Chelsea Football Club has appointed Paul Marsh as dedicated Head Chef for meeting and events.

With over 20 years’ experience within the hospitality industry, Marsh started his career at the Hartwell House Hotel & Spa in Buckinghamshire and progressed to hold several Head Chef positions, including at Stadium MK Double Tree by Hilton in Milton Keynes; Luton Hoo Hotel on the border of Hertfordshire and Bedfordshire; The Olde Watermill in Bedfordshire and The Aeglesburgh in Aylesbury.

Each year Chelsea Football Club hosts over 700 events with each client requiring catering to perfectly match their event style. This includes everything from impressive three-course banquets to innovative break-out food stations.

In his new role, Marsh will work solely on delivering a dedicated M&E catering service, incorporating the latest culinary and event trends with the aim of always exceeding the client’s expectations. This will allow the Club’s M&E team to continue to create memorable catering experiences at what is one of London’s most complete venues.

With such a versatile and sophisticated offering for the meeting and events sector – from event spaces to services, my role will ensure that attendees experience locally-sourced fresh dishes that add a wow factor to an event, whether it’s a gala dinner, conference or reception.”

Simon Hunter, Head of Venue and Development, said, “It’s a pleasure to welcome Paul to the team and to introduce this new dedicated service to our clients. Paul’s appointment will ensure that our meetings and events offering continues to be second to none.”
