Dodo Pizza to open 5th UK site in Leamington Spa this year

Dodo Pizza, one of Europe’s fastest-growing pizza chains, is set to open in Leamington Spa by the end of the year.

The company, which was formed in 2012, has signed a 15-year lease for 1,608 sq ft of ground floor space at 52-54 Warwick Street, formerly part of a Co-op store.

Work is currently underway to transform the building, with a view to the firm’s new base potentially offering takeaway and delivery services from December this year.

The chain has 657 outlets across 13 countries, four of which are in the UK: Brighton, Coventry, Walsall Wood and Walsall Central.

Although UK sales have yet to meet Dodo Pizza's expectations, the firm reported that they've actually improved during this pandemic.

The brand USP's are:
• lighter crust - thanks to the use of Roman-style dough.
• top quality toppings
• super fast deliveries - par-baked crust allows staff to make a pizza in 4 minutes so they can guarantee deliveries in under 15 minutes.
• easy ordering via our app/website
• convenient locations - par-baked crust makes it possible to reduce the size of units, which makes it easier to find good sites.
