In July, The Francis hotel in Bath, part of the Sutton Hotel Collection, is set to undergo a £13 million refurbishment.
As part of the refurbishment, all 98 bedrooms and suites will undergo renovation, alongside the addition of a thermal spa featuring three treatment rooms.
Additionally, there are plans to introduce a new Townhouse Brasserie, highlighting seasonal British cuisine as part of the renovation.
Simultaneously, the lobby will undergo a redesign to incorporate a snug area, providing a comfortable space for both members of the public and residents to relax.
The Francis hotel debuted as Accor's second UK-based MGallery property in 2012 before becoming part of the Sutton Hotel Collection upon its launch in 2022.
The property holds historical significance as one of the earliest Georgian buildings constructed in Bath. It also served as the residence of the renowned 18th-century architect John Wood the Elder.

The Sutton Hotel Collection encompasses other notable properties such as the Queens Hotel Cheltenham and the Castle Hotel Windsor.
