New Chucs to open next month in North West London

Chucs has announced the arrival of its latest London venture, launching this July under the direction of CEO Graziano Arricale and Executive Chef Director Simon Henbery.

The newest addition to the collection, which already boasts sites in Mayfair, Notting Hill, Belgravia, Kensington and Chelsea, will be opening on St. John’s Wood’s Circus Road.

Chucs’ latest addition marks its largest undertaking so far, with 84 covers and room for 150 standing, as well as an outdoor terrace seating 16 – the perfect spot for guests to sip their morning coffee or unwind over a leisurely aperitivo during the sunnier months.

Open from 8am daily, the breakfast menu will feature light and healthy options, including a chia seed bowl with seasonal fruit, house granola with strawberries, mint and yoghurt, as well as smashed avocado with toasted seeds and smoked chilli.

Heartier options, including eggs royale served with Chalk Farm smoked salmon and the Chucs Breakfast (plus a vegetarian version) are also available.

Enjoy alongside a freshly squeezed juice, smoothie, or Difference Coffee – Difference sources the highest-grade coffees and work with Master Roaster Jonny England, one of only four fully- licensed Coffee Quality Graders globally.

At lunchtime, Chucs Classics will take center stage; linguine with Cornish crab, chili, lemon and pangrattato, the chopped cobb salad (which has found fame on Instagram) and chicken Milanese with rosemary, lemon and pecorino are all available, alongside seasonal dishes such as salmon torchon with peas, grelot onions, wild garlic and mint oil.

Come evening, guests can stop by for a cocktail at the bar – a Negroni or Aperol Spritz perhaps – alongside a selection of Chucs cicchetti. Favourites include confit lamb croquettes with salsa verde, bruschetta with anchovies, stracchino, courgette and peppers, as well as the much-loved truffle arancini.

The dinner menu will be available from 5pm; dishes new to the menu include seabass ceviche with avocado, radish and cucumber to start, followed by mains such as an indulgent lobster risotto served with sauce Americaine. For dessert, there's Amalfi lemon tart with creme fraiche and vanilla ice cream, Chucs’ famous tiramisu and a rich affogato.

A 120 bin wine list, featuring a wide array of Italian bottles as well as international favorites, will be available alongside a selection of house cocktails – including the Chucs 71 and Acqua Veneziana – favourites amongst the group’s clientele since the opening of its Mayfair branch in summer 2014.

Following a number of successful collaborations – including at Chucs Belgravia (the group’s flagship) and Chucs Cafe´ Kensington (winner of a 2020 Restaurant Bar and Design Award), Fettle have once again been commissioned to deliver the most elegant of interiors, inspired by the effortless glamour of 1950s Italy.
