Salford-based brewery, Seven Brothers is to open its first bar within the Ice Plant in Ancoats, following a a successful crowdfunding campaign, which raised £200k in return for 18% of the firm.
Founded over two years ago by the seven McAvoy brothers, the brewery is now producing seven different varieties of craft beer, which will be sold at the new bar.
Following a major refurbishment, the 1,800 sq ft two-storey venue, named the Seven Brothers Craft Beer Bar and Kitchen, will feature a large bar on the ground floor, with a small bar and kitchen on a lower, basement level.
The new 80-cover outlet will serve Italian food, and is expected to host a number of launch nights in December before its official opening before the New Year.
