Following the major news in November that United Biscuits had been sold to Yildiz Holding for around £2bn, the snack company is to shed 202 of the 680 jobs at the McVitie's factory in Glasgow.
United Biscuits said the changes were necessary to keep its operation 'modern, efficient and competitive'.
