200 Degrees opens flagship coffee shop and first barista school in Nottingham

Nottingham based coffee roaster 200 Degrees has launched a new flagship coffee shop at Flying Horse Walk in Nottingham, with the creation of 15 jobs.

The 3,000 sq. ft venue is located at the former Flying Horse Inn and will serve specialist coffee drinks and food on the ground floor.

The upstairs will be Nottingham's first barista school for beginners and professionals.

The latest concept coffee shop is led by university friends Rob Darby and Tom Vincent who also run successful sister coffee company Belle and Jerome in Beeston.

The friends who launched the specialist roasting coffee company in 2013 are planning to expand the 200 degrees brand across the Midlands.

Moss said, “We roast our own coffee in a Meadow Lane building and we sell our coffee to other restaurants and bars.'

'We are passionate about our coffee and are excited about bringing a new concept coffee shop to Nottingham.”
