Details announced for new Gordon Ramsay restaurant

Gordon Ramsay’s has released details on his new London restaurant London House, which is due to open in London’s Battersea Square in February 2014.

The restaurant, which is opening on the former site of the Bennett Oyster Bar, is intended as a ‘neighborhood’ venue with head chef Anna Kelly, previously worked in Ireland, France, Spain, London and Los Angeles, overseeing a menu of European-style food with a focus on local British and artisan ingredients. The site will have a separate drinks lounge serving spirits, original cocktails, a select wine list and London –brewed beers.

The décor will be designed by Russell Sage who most recently designed Union Street Cafe in Southwark for Ramsay. It will focus on relaxation, including a fireplace and wooden floors, with leather sofas and a colour palette of grey and slate blue.

The restaurant is set to open for lunch from Friday to Sunday and dinner from Tuesday to Sunday.
