Carl Howells has taken on the role of commercial director at Foodbuy, the procurement division of Compass Group.
Prior to joining Foodbuy, Carl Howells served as the director of client relations at Entegra, a group purchasing firm.
Howells will be responsible for managing all aspects of Foodbuy's hospitality operations, with a particular focus on expanding the client base within the hotel sector.
Foodbuy currently manages a combined client spend of over £1.4b in the UK, including procurement for parent company Compass Group. It offers services including online procurement, menu design, margin delivery and chef development.
