Greene King to launch first pub under its new concept Seared

Greene King is to launch the first pub under its new concept, Seared, showcasing a variety of international delights, including patatas bravas and jerk chicken.

After an extensive three-month renovation surpassing £1 million, The Castle in Droitwich Spa, Worcestershire, is scheduled to reopen its doors on January 8th.

Responding to an increasing demand for 'new flavors and world cuisines,' Greene King, the operator of over 1,600 pubs, restaurants, and hotels across the country under brands such as Hungry Horse and Farmhouse Inns, has introduced a fresh concept to meet evolving consumer preferences.

On the menu will be a variety of enticing dishes, such as pulled pork tacos with a zesty Nashville-style sauce (£5.45), a Turkish-inspired grilled vegetable salad paired with halloumi (£11.95), a delectable chicken tikka burger (£10.95), and enticing food platters (£24.95) inspired by diverse regions, including the Caribbean, South America, and the Middle East.

The menu will retain a selection of British classics, including timeless favorites such as fish and chips (£7.95) and gammon, egg, and chips (£7.95).

Natalia Perez, brand director at Greene King, said: 'We're dedicated to bringing new and exciting experiences to our guests all over the country, and we can't wait to launch our latest concept, Seared, at the Castle in January.

'Our guests can expect vibrant interiors and globally inspired, affordable dishes that pair perfectly with new international draught lagers, cocktails and soft drinks.'
