Miles Slade named operations director of RedCat Pub Company

Miles Slade has been appointed operations director of RedCat Pub Company's pub division.

Mark Slade, formerly the operations director at London-based pub company Urban Pubs and Bars, has joined RedCat as part of its growing team.

Prior to his role at Urban Pubs and Bars, Mark spent two decades at JD Wetherspoon, where he served as retail director for eight years.

RedCat, established by Rooney Anand, the former chief executive of Greene King, in February 2021, secured £200 million in equity with backing from Oaktree Capital Management. Since then, the company has acquired 116 pubs and pub hotels, amassing an estate featuring over 1,400 rooms.
