Beefeater to open latest site in Nottinghamshire


Whitbread’s Beefeater brand is set to grow to 175 grill-houses with the opening of ‘The Dukes’ in the market town of Worksop in Nottinghamshire on Tuesday 15th November.

The first new Beefeater to open in over a year, the brand was conceived in 1974, has been serving guests for nearly 50 years, and its ethos of great steak and friendly service in relaxed surroundings has stood the test of time.

Located in the retail park on High Grounds Road, the new opening will be a 130-cover restaurant and bar, with an additional 54 covers in an expansive garden.

The space will feature an eclectic range of seating, including deep yellow leather banquette seating and group dining tables, along with an open kitchen for dinners to catch all the grill action, framed with wooden panelling and warm coloured walls.

Serving breakfast, lunch and dinner, menus focus with on delivering high quality and big flavour dishes, fresh from the grill, including 30-day aged steaks from British and Irish farms.

Value for money is an integral part of the brand with eat-as-much-as-you-like breakfasts starting from £7.50, three-course kids’ menus at £5.99, and a Sunday roast menu, complete with all the trimmings plus unlimited roast potatoes, Yorkshire puddings and gravy from £12.99.

The new opening marks the continued expansion of Whitbread’s restaurant core brands, with further site openings planned for sister brand Bar + Block and Brewers Fayre.
