Harrods brings together 6 world-respected chefs for once-in-a-lifetime charity banquet

For almost 175 years, Harrods has brought the worlds’ finest luxury to the world. It is now bringing the most visionary culinary talents to London, to host the world’s most decorated luxury dining experience.

On 22 September, Harrods is bringing together six of the worlds most decorated and respected chefs for the very first time, to develop and personally prepare a once-in-a-lifetime banquet for Harrods guests; at the Harrods Table.

These six visionary talents – Bjorn Frantzen, Jason Atherton, Tom Kerridge, Dave Pynt, Angelo Musa and Phil Khoury – will be gathered together in this iconic location in celebration of the vibrant culinary scene of London, and the global stage offered by Harrods as a world-leading dining destination.

All six chefs are partners of current or upcoming restaurants at Harrods, which currently hosts more Michelin starred restaurants under one roof than any other location in London.

Together, they will create a 12 Michelin starred meal, with proceeds going towards Felix Refettorio at St. Cuthberts, which - as part of Massimo Bottura’s Food for Soul network – is dedicated to relieving poverty and supporting vulnerable Londoners through the power of a shared meal.

Hosted in a specially designed space inside Harrods, 25 guests will enjoy 6 courses personally prepared and served by the chefs, paired with acclaimed vintages from the Harrods cellars.

The six chefs, each a pioneer and leading visionary in their own specialist form of cuisine, will prepare the following within the Harrods kitchens, to be personally served in the Harrods Table dining room, together with specially chosen liquids pairings.

Ashley Saxton, Director of Restaurants at Harrods, who has launched each chefs restaurant proposition in Harrods, is spearheading the event and said, “Gathering these six visionaries - who are at the absolute top of the culinary world - together for one night, was no easy feat.

'However, they were happy to come and celebrate their style of cooking and to prepare a meal together in London’s most iconic setting, and in aid of a fantastic cause.

'I am excited not only to see the once-in-a-lifetime banquet that they prepare, but also to raise as much as we can for charity. To see these chefs together in one place, to see how they inspire and challenge each other to create the worlds most exclusive meal, will a dream come true for the lucky gourmands who join us on the night”.

The Harrods Table is being held as a charity fundraiser, with all proceeds being donated to charity. Just 25 covers at £2,500 per seat are being made available to Harrods clients, to ensure the most exclusive dining experience, with proceeds going towards Refettorio Felix at St Cuthberts. Ticket enquiries can be made via Harrods.com

Following its next stage of restaurant expansions, Harrods will be the only location in London where guests can access 12 Michelin stars under one roof, with some of the worlds most exciting and decorated chefs all gathered in one location – from fine dining to international cuisine, to traditional British classics.

The Harrods Table is taking place as part of the wider Harrods Restaurants Festival, a celebration of dining experiences and in-house talent at Harrods throughout this week.
