Nisbets creates customer centric shopping destination with flagship store revamp

Nisbets, the leading supplier of catering equipment in Europe, has completed the refurbishment of its London flagship store on Shaftesbury Avenue.

The store, which is revealing to customers from today, is home to one of the largest retail trading spaces across its global footprint with an area of approximately 9,200 sq ft.

The store has been enhanced with live streaming from the digital kitchen at National Catering Equipment Centre (NCEC) in Bristol and will stream kitchen demonstrations, the latest innovative technology, and a lot more to create an immersive in-store customer experience.

Nisbets has been trading at the Shaftesbury Avenue store for over 13 years, initially acquiring the site from Pages in 2009 and in 2018 acquiring the next-door café in order to extend the store further, making it the largest store on the estate in terms of footprint and revenue.

It has over 3,500 product ranges aimed at the catering industry and following the refurbishment is the only store to include both an appliance and a crookery and glassware showroom. In addition to the products in store, customers can choose from over 30,000 products from its website with options for a next-day delivery or even to click and collect from the store.

Robin White, Managing Director, said, “When we decided to give a facelift to the Shaftesbury Avenue store, our aim was to create a one-of-a-kind destination for our customers in the centre of London that, in recognition of the changing retail market, is able to provide an immersive shopping experience whilst showcasing everything Nisbets has to offer.

“For the past decade the Nisbets Shaftesbury Avenue store has been unique and the investment we’ve made helps make this store a truly exciting place to be. We have built a loyal customer base in London and are committed to be able to do more to support their needs through these rapidly changing times.”
