Soho House Group to open in south London & Manchester

The Soho House Group is to launch Little House Balham, south London in early summer, and it's first venture north, in Manchester, will open either this year or in early nex year.

The new 5,300 sq ft private members club, situated on Balham's Bedford Hill, will feature a Cecconi’s restaurant, and will follow the group's very latest launch in Brighton this month.

Soho House Group Founder, Nick Jones said, ‘We want to offer members more spaces outside of central London. Our outpost here will stretch over 5,300 sq ft, and feature a club space, bar and Club Cecconi’s restaurant. What more could you want?'

When the Manchester site launches, it will be the group's 13th UK property, and the fourth outside London.

The Soho House Group also runs venues in Somerset and Oxfordshire.

Abroad, Soho House Bangkok will open in the summer - the company's first site in South East Asia, along with Soho Beach House Miami, Copenhagen, Stockholm, West Hollywood, and Mexico City.

Parent company. Membership Collective Group (MCG) held an IPO in New York last year rasing $388m (£295m), and set a target of opening 5 to 7 new Soho Houses around the world each year.

MCG has now upgraded that forecast, stating it will now be opening 8 to 10 clubs per year from 2023.
