The Beaumont welcomes new Hotel Manager & Restaurant Director


The Beaumont, the five-star Mayfair hotel, has announces the appointments of Samantha Rieu as Hotel Manager and Antonio Dandrea as Restaurant Director of The Colony Grill Room.

Rieu (pictured) and Dandrea both join the hotel with a wealth of experience as long-standing hospitality professionals.

Rieu, who joins The Beaumont from Dukes London, has over fifteen years in the hospitality industry. She began her career at The Fairmont Boston and The Savoy Hotel, and has worked at the Mandarin Oriental in Hyde Park, for the Harvey Nichols Group, the renowned Michelin-starred Roussillon restaurant, UBS, and was named GM of the Future by the Master Innholders at the Independent Hotel Show Awards 2019.

Dandrea joins the hotel from the prestigious Fairmount Windsor, where he held the role of Food and Beverage Manager. He has worked for the Savoy Hotel in Florence, Brown’s Hotel in Mayfair, Le Richemond in Geneva, The Lanesborough in London and The Arts Club in Mayfair as Restaurant Deputy General Manager.

The Beaumont, which has 50 rooms and 22 suites and studios, offers The Colony Grill, an 88-cover, starry, sophisticated New York-style restaurant with a timeless menu of transatlantic favourites and a big helping of old-world glamour.

For fans of al fresco dining, meanwhile, the brand new 24-seater Terrace brings café culture to Brown Hart Gardens. The iconic new 30-cover Le Magritte Bar serves classic cocktails and stylish snacks, while the new 34 cover Gatsby’s Room provides the ideal setting for afternoon tea or evening drinks.

The Lotos Room is a private-dining room seating up to 60. The elegant spa, with its spacious gymnasium, offers a wide range of relaxing and regenerative treatments.
