Famously Proper, the group that owns iconic fried chicken street food brand, Mother Clucker, is investing in new bricks and mortar openings, with a flagship site coming in early 2022.
As reported earlier this month, Famously Proper is rolling out Motherclucker's menu to 18 towns and cities across England and Scotland this Thursday, 18 November, via Deliveroo.
Delivery kitchens have seen a boom thanks to the pandemic, with many big brands launching dark kitchens during 2020/2021, and the appetite doesn’t seem to be waning, with London restaurants alone, selling an extra 900k meals a week via delivery apps.
This is the reasoning behind Famously Proper’s decision to invest heavily in the rollout, and to instigate rapid expansion plans for more exciting launches during early 2022.
