Lantana opens fourth London site

Award-winning independent restaurant group, Lantana has just opened the doors to its fourth venture in the capital, DL/78.

Lantana’s first counter service cafe, DL/78 is situated in Derwent London’s new hybrid amenity space in Charlotte Street, Fitzrovia - perfectly located only moments away from Soho Square and the Theatre district.

Originally built as a 1960s post office headquarters, MSMR architects maintained the buildings bold industrial aesthetic, and complimented it with wood finishes, bespoke furniture, and low hanging gold lights: setting the tone for an intimate and luxurious dining
experience.

Taking inspiration from its Australian heritage, Lantana provides a relaxed setting in which guests can enjoy tastes and flavours from Australia’s multicultural cuisines, with healthy dishes, freshly baked sweet treats and house blend Lantana Coffee. In accordance with this, guests can expect delectable dishes in an Instagram-able setting at Lantana’s latest venture.

With a slight twist on Lantana’s classic menu, DL/78 focuses on counter salads, sourdough toasties and feel-good breakfast bites, including Green Egg, Spinach and Chilli Jam Breakfast Baps and Coconut, Chia and Rhubarb Breakfast Pots.

Located in Derwent London’s first all-electric net zero carbon building, DL/78 by Lantana offers sustainable dining with locally sourced produce, recyclable or compostable packaging and durable and reusable Huskee cups are provided for all Derwent London residents to take to their desks in the space, in order to cut down on take-away packaging.

Lantana also ensures that food waste is kept to a minimum. Complementing Lantana’s fresh produce, nature is an intrinsic feature of the cafes interior, with large Kentia Palm Plants nestled between seating.

Open to Derwent London’s office occupiers and the public alike, Lantana DL/78 is open from 8am – 6pm Monday – Friday.
