The Conduit returns in new venue with huge restaurant launching in October


The Conduit, a member's club committed to social, environmental, and economic change, has now opened at its new home in Covent Garden, and will be opening its own dedicated 2,000 sq ft public-facing restaurant later in October,

Spanning six floors, The Conduit, which is owned by the Mercers’ Company, is a focal point in the heart of London for its 3,000 members, including media leaders, policymakers, social entrepreneurs, academics, philanthropists, investors, academics, activists and civil society leaders.

The Conduit provides a platform for members to connect in person and share ideas about creating a sustainable and prosperous future. The launch comes at a time when global collaboration is needed on a range of important issues across different sectors and industries.

As part of the phased launch, The Conduit will be opening its own dedicated 2,000 sq ft public-facing restaurant later in October, which will host 80 covers inside and up to 40 covers outside.

Available for public and member use, the ground floor restaurant will serve seasonal, sharing style dishes and will have a strong emphasis on sustainability and ethical hospitality.

The restaurant will pay tribute to the building’s history as a warehouse when Covent Garden was a fruit and vegetable market utilising fresh, locally sourced ingredients, and displaying a range of sustainable and ethical products on shelves available for purchase.

The Conduit’s rooftop terrace, opening in Spring 2022, will complete the building, which has a dedicated events floor, intimate meeting spaces, a broadcast studio, and a range of food and beverage and private dining options.

The Conduit has also forged wider partnerships with the local community businesses, including Stanfords to provide its second-floor bookshop, Pineapple Dance Studios to offer morning dance and yoga classes for members, and the London Film School on a film and documentary screening series.
