Loch Earn Brewery & Hotel, in the idyllic Highlands village of St Fillians, Crieff, has sold within four months of the property coming to the market through Christie & Co..
The Loch Earn Brewery & Hotel sits on the banks of Loch Earn in stunning Perthshire, within easy reach of Glasgow, Stirling, Perth and Edinburgh.
The hotel boasts breath-taking views over the water and surrounding highlands and also enjoys direct loch access, with ten moorings, three piers and a private slipway.
The main building, a detached C-Listed Victorian style property comprises 38 guest rooms, along with three separate bar and restaurant areas, including a loch-side beer garden.
The grounds also feature two breweries run by the previous owners, award-winning Scottish brewing company, Arran Brewery, who purchased the hotel in 2013.
Unfortunately following a small fire within the property, the company made the decision to bring the hotel to market. The business has been purchased by a private investor at an undisclosed price.
Tony Spence, Business Agent in Christie & Co’s Hospitality team handled the sale and commented, “This was a fantastic opportunity to acquire a large hotel that sits on the banks of Loch Earn, and with extensive refurbishments going to be undertaken. I would like to take this opportunity to wish the new owner all the best.”
