Knoops, that offers artisan chocolate drinks, is opening its fifth outlet in Brighton in late June, early July, in the heart of the Lanes.
Founder Jens Knoop is very much at the core of the business, his personal touch will be evident throughout the Brighton store.
The Knoops concept is unique, as it's based around a carefully curated chocolate percentage menu of around 22 chocolates, ranging from 28% white to 100% extra dark. This means that there's a type of chocolate to suit every taste, whether in a milkshake, iced chocolate, hot chocolate or mocha.
Experimentation is encouraged too, with flavours, herbs and spices on hand to help customers really make their chocolate drink their own. They call this process 'Knoopology'.
Vegan options are plentiful, with all chocolates of 54% or higher naturally vegan-friendly, and a range of non-dairy milks are offered with which to make the drinks.
Founded in 2013 with a small store in Rye, East Sussex, Knoops is expanding not far from where their journey began – spreading from East Sussex to West. Since 2020, the brand has expanded into London with stores in Kensington, Clapham Junction, Kings Road and Richmond.
