Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels invests £75k into outdoor activities at two sites

Hotel group, Crieff Hydro Family of Hotels has invested £75k in new additions for its child-friendly outdoor facilities at two of its hotels.

Children visiting Peebles Hydro Hotel or Crieff Hydro Hotel are gearing up for some real adventure as both hotels unveil some impressive new additions.

Revving-up the front lawn under the rail bridge at Peebles and Glen’s Adventure Park at Crieff, will be new mini Land Rover vehicles and Crazi Bugz – high-tech electrically powered all-terrain vehicles – which come complete with a brand new specially constructed track.

The new ‘Glen’s Mini Off Roaders’ can be taken on a joyride along the twists and turns of the custom-built track with bumps, bridges and tunnels to navigate around.
Suitable for drivers aged three plus on the Land Rovers and six plus on the Crazi Bugz, younger drivers need not miss out and can be passengers if they wish to road test the new additions.

Kids will also have the opportunity to dress up in their flat caps or cowboy hats as they tackle the track giving them a true sense of country life.

Action Glen Manager, Richard Leckie is delighted with the new additions. He said: “The mini Land Rovers and Crazi Bugz are something completely new to the children’s facilities already on offer at both Crieff and Peebles Hydro.
“The new off-roaders provide an immense amount of fun for children and offer a great sense of freedom and adventure, offering the best test of skill and co-ordination. We can’t wait to see them in full use over the coming months.”
The new mini Land Rovers and Crazi Bugz cost £10 per person for a 20 minute session.
