Camden Town Brewery to launch beer hall with chef Theo Randall

Camden Town Brewery will be opening the doors to its brand new beer experience, the Camden Beer Hall in early June and has teamed up with renowned chef, Theo Randall for the menu.

Opening alongside the North London brewery’s original production site in Wilkin Street Mews, the Beer Hall takes inspiration from traditional Bavarian beer halls to offer the brand’s fresh, never pasteurised beer to its customers at a new destination created with beer lovers in mind.

An impressive refurbishment of the original bar at the North London brewery site, Camden’s new Beer Hall features double the seating capacity of the original and generous outdoor space, creating the ultimate immersive experience that’s set to become an iconic beer drinking destination in London.

Opening its doors just in time for summer, guests will be able to enjoy beer directly from the brewery tanks, serving up the freshest pint possible. Housing 24 taps at its bar, beer fans will be able to enjoy Camden’s full core range – including the much-loved Hells, Pale and Off Menu – as well as the Arch 55 creations, Camden’s small batch innovation series, produced in the brewhouse right next to the bar.

Camden has a focus on delivering the best beer drinking experience possible - they will be one of the only venues in the London to introduce a manual glass washing station at the front of its bar to keep all glassware sparkling clean and will be serving all its pints in chilled glassware for the ultimate serve. In fact, if the correct glass is not manually cleaned and chilled to perfection, that beer will not be available to purchase at that time.

Theo Randall has curated a unique menu designed to perfectly pair with Camden’s range of beers. Combining Randall’s love for Italian cooking and seasonal ingredients with dishes you’d find in a Bavarian inspired beer hall, the menu will feature small dishes and sharing platters great for snacking on alongside a fresh pint.

Jasper Cuppaidge, Founder of Camden Town Brewery, said, “We’ve been making beer under the arches in Camden for 11 years now, and serving beer onsite has always been an important part of what we do, so we couldn’t be more excited to welcome our regulars, beer fans and local community back in to see what we’ve done with the place.

“Our house will be open again and it will be super exciting to be serving fresh, never pasteurised beer in our home, just like we always have – but now in a space that’s three times bigger and finally does justice to our vision.

'Bavarian beer halls have a special place in our hearts, as part of the experiences that inspired our Hells lager. If Hells is our version of a German Lager, this is our version of a Beer Hall, perfect for drinking the freshest Hells Lager.

“It made sense to have our great friend and great chef Theo Randall create the menu and look after the kitchen for us, championing fresh ingredients in a way is the perfect accompaniment to our beer. It will be the best beer experience in the city and we can’t wait for beer lovers to see what we’ve been up to when we fling open the doors.”

For the biggest beer fans out there, Camden is offering guests the chance to tour the brewery as part of their Beer Hall visit. New immersive tours will teach visitors all about Camden’s unique brewing process and what makes their beers just so special, directly at the home of Hells.

The Camden Beer Hall will also be complete with a brand-new merchandise shop which will offer bespoke items exclusive to the Beer Hall. From totes to t-shirts, the merch store will also be equipped with a fridge full of fresh takeaway beers, so guests will be able to hit the road with their favourite can of Camden beer.

The Camden Beer Hall is taking bookings now for tours and tables from 7 June onwards.
