Accor launches Ibis Bridgwater ahead of full opening in May


Leading hospitality group Accor has opened a new ibis hotel in Bridgwater in the South West of England, initially open for restricted use in with government legislation, ahead of a full opening in May.

ibis Bridgwater is the UK’s first full Plaza design concept; a new contemporary and urban interior design concept. The hotel will be a truly vibrant space creating flexible social and working hubs that are welcoming living spaces for people to meet, work and play.

A truly open and inviting space offering guests a relaxed, vibrant and contemporary hospitality experience. The hotel is also the first ibis in the UK to feature a Keepers Kitchen and Bar.

As part of the new design concept, ibis Bridgwater has a mix of 144 double, twin and interconnecting rooms available, meaning the hotel can cater for all types of travellers. Rooms start from £49. Each room also features the unparalleled comfort of a Sweet Bed™, a bed unique to ibis which offers guests a restorative night’s sleep. The hotel also features onsite parking, modern meeting rooms and smart TVs in every room.

For those looking for a lively spot to eat, the modern Keepers Kitchen and Bar, will open at ibis Bridgwater. Keepers is an all-day dining restaurant and bar offering British and international classics across its locally-sourced menus, plus a selection of Keeper's specials with signature house honey. A great new venue for guests and locals to meet, dine, work and unwind from morning until night.

The hotel also comes with high-speed Wi-Fi internet and smart TVs with Chromecast. In addition, ibis Bridgwater offer two meetings rooms, making it a convenient set up for business travellers.
