Birmingham-based Lasan Group is to launch a new Argentinian restaurant and bar, which is due to open in Leicester on 17 May.
Sonrisa will create 40 new jobs and open on the day the Government has indicated indoor hospitality should be able to start welcoming guests again.
It will be situated the city’s St Martins within a former bank unit that was most recently occupied by delicatessen, Delilah Fine Foods.
Sonrisa will be an offshoot of the group's established Fiesta Del Asado steak restaurants in Birmingham and Solihull.
The menu will serve up Argentinian-inspired dishes, along with cocktails and South American wines.
