This Valentine’s Day, Two Tribes Brewery, will team up with From The Ashes BBQ for a special edition beer and BBQ box.
Two Tribes founder Justin Deighton has collaborated with Frank Fellows, Martin Anderson and Curtis Bell, the trio of chefs behind the cult Hackney Wick popup, to curate a generous delivery which features finish at home BBQ dishes alongside plenty of freshly brewed beer from the London brewery.
Dishes have been chosen to impress but equally for their ease of preparation. The menu starts with their Nduja 'Del Piero’ Doughnuts filled with smoked pork, house made chilli jam, BBQ sauce & Nduja.
For the main event, diners will tuck into their slow smoked ribs braised in Two Tribes pale ale and smothered in BBQ sauce, served with chilli pickles completed with sides of crispy beef fat potatoes, BBQ beans and burnt ends.
To finish, there’s fire-pit ‘chocolate’ profiteroles covered with a chocolate beer sauce made using Two Tribes' ‘Symphony’ cocoa & sea salt stout – a rich and warming way to end this celebratory meal.
Working with top farmers from across the UK, the team behind From The Ashes BBQ have chosen dishes created on the holy trinity of smoke, fat and flavour, designed to seamlessly partner with fresh beers from the King’s Cross brewery.
To drink, Justin and the team have selected six beers from their Metroland series, a newly released series of session IPAs, inspired by Justin’s travels to destinations around the world and across the UK.
