Island Poké collborates with Masterchef finalist 2020

Island Poké, the UK’s largest poké brand, have announced their Veganuary bowl collaboration with Chef Philli Armitage-Mattin, finalist in the latest MasterChef: The Professionals series w.

The bowl features Island Poké’s zero-calorie noodle slaw as the base, with rolled mushroom and oat balls, topped with a Korean BBQ sauce, turmeric pickled pear, edamame, kimchi, pickled radish and a dusting of toasted buckwheat for added crunch.

Launching 4 January across all Island Poké sites, the Korean inspired bowl is packed full of the health credentials you’d expect in January. It’s under 400 calories, high in fibre and good for your gut.

To celebrate the collaboration Island Poké will be running a competition throughout January to win an online cooking class with Armitage-Mattin.

Island Poké founder, James Porter said, “We’re really excited about launching our first collaboration of 2021. Philli is clearly a very talented chef and brought lots of great ideas to the table so it’s great to have her influence on our Veganuary bowl.”

Armitage-Mattin said, “It’s been great working on the Veganuary bowl with James and the team and I’m really proud of what we’ve come up with. Not only is it delicious, but hits all the health cues people are generally looking for in the new year.”
