Hoxton Bakehouse expands with new & larger sites


Hampshire artisan bakery and coffee shop chain, Hoxton Bakehouse has reopened its Southampton branch in a larger site, opened a new site in Bishop's Waltham, and will open in Petersfield next week.

Founded by former chefs and husband-and-wife powerhouse duo, Florence Hellier and Darren Bland, Hoxton Bakehouse has been providing goods to top restaurants across the country since 2014.

Alongside this, they opened their own bakery-coffee shops where pastry-lovers and bread-heads can get a slice of the action direct from the oven.

Their signature sourdough is freshly baked every morning alongside croissants and Viennoiserie, Nordic buns and sandwiches, plus speciality coffee roasted at Winchester-based River Coffee Roasters.

During the first lockdown and again with this second lockdown, like many other businesses trying to survive, the bakery pivoted to home delivery; the reputation of their exceptional quality and flavour proceeded them and the team has struggled to keep up with local demand.

A ‘Weekend Box’ including a Country loaf, bread flour, free range eggs, brioche buns and cinnamons buns has been added again to the home delivery range, as well as the ‘Pastry and Coffee Gift Box’, alongside their popular bread, pastries and larder products.
