Mindful Chef & Leon set to deliver limited-edition recipe boxes

As England is about to enter its second national lockdown and most of the population wave goodbye to dining out, Mindful Chef is offering customers the chance to enjoy the restaurant experience at home.

From 8 to 21 November, fans of fast-casual chain Leon will be able to get their hands on its Naturally Fast Food from the comfort of their kitchen, as it partners with the UK’s top-rated recipe box brand Mindful Chef on the launch of its limited-edition boxes.

Delivered straight to customers' doors nationwide, the limited-edition Mindful Chef x Leon recipe box will contain everything needed to make Leon’s famous lunch; Moroccan Meatballs and Sicilian-Style Meatless Meatballs. Each box includes pre-portioned ingredients, step-by-step instructions, plus a free jar of Leon’s iconic vegan Garlic Aioli to dollop on the side.

United on the mission to make healthy eating easy, the Mindful Chef x Leon recipes boxes follow the recipe box brand’s successful partnership with Nando’s that took place this summer.

Giles Humphries, co-founder of Mindful Chef, commented, “With so many people in the UK working from home due to Covid-19, we wanted to bring dishes that we know the nation will be missing treating themselves to when at the office, into their homes.

'We are big fans of LEON and think their concept of Naturally Fast Food aligns perfectly with our mission to make healthy eating not only easy, but tasty and enjoyable at the same time.”

Charlotte di Cello, Leon CCO and Leon Grocery MD, said, “We’re delighted to be partnering with Mindful Chef and sharing some of our most loved LEON classics with people to enjoy at home.

'Like us, they care about natural, well-sourced, food that tastes good and does you good. We’re excited to include a free jar of our best-selling
Aioli, which just happens to be vegan.”

The Mindful Chef x Leon recipe boxes will be available for nationwide delivery 8- 21 November, from £4.50 per person, with the last order date being Tuesday 17 November.
