£22m secured for planned Milton Keynes hotel

The team behind a new Milton Keynes 261-bed hotel development has secured £22m towards the build.

The four-star hotel, names Hotel La Tour, is set to become one of the tallest buildings in the town when it launches in 2022.

The plans for hotel include a rooftop bar and restaurant, 10 conference rooms for up to 300 delegates, and a gym.

Planning approval was given two years ago to turn the former coach car park into a 14-storey hotel.

Hotel La Tour Birmingham launched in 2012, with plans to roll out the brand to five sites by 2017. However, the hotel was acquired by the Dalata Hotel Group in 2017 and rebranded as a Clayton hotel.
