Shepherd Neame is today (Tuesday, March 31) pledging further support for its licensees in light of the ongoing Covid-19 situation.
The company previously suspended all licensee rents from March 23. Since rents are payable weekly in arrears, this effectively means that Shepherd Neame licensees haven’t paid rent since the Prime Minister’s announcement to avoid pubs on March 16.
Additional measures announced today are as follows:
· All licensee rents will continue to be waived for the duration of the Government closure period.
· Shepherd Neame’s Head Office team are offering extensive support to licensees in accessing the grants and financial support available from the Government.
