Fullers launches In Bed With sessions at new hidden cocktail bar

This month Fuller, Smith & Turner is launching its In Bed With sessions at The Chambers, the new underground cocktail bar hidden beneath The Chamberlain Hotel – a stone’s throw away from Tower Bridge.

The In Bed With workshops present a line-up of inspiring speakers who are leading experts and authorities in their fields, from urban farming to achieving happiness on the 9-5. The series will offer thought-provoking, educational and engaging talks, discussions and presentations led by the speakers.

Each workshop will focus on a unique topic to appeal to a wide range of audience members, inviting people from all walks of life into The Chambers to experience its low-lit, relaxed ambience and innovative range of cocktails, all inspired by London’s iconic underground stations.

Launching on Wednesday 27 November from 6pm – 7.30pm, the debut session will cover gender equality in football and how girls are moving the goalposts. The presentation will be led by Karen Dobres, writer and Non-Executive Director of Lewes Football Club – the first professional club in the world where women are paid the same as men – as she reveals the perfect cocktail recipe for gender equality on the pitch.

Upon arrival, guests will receive The Chambers’ signature cocktail – a twist on a White Russian to reflect the red, black and white colours of Lewes FC. It consists of Vodka infused with cinnamon, homemade coffee liqueur, raspberry and Campari cream, garnished with dehydrated coconut. For the rest of the evening, £1 of every cocktail purchased will go to the charity, Special Olympics GB.

All attendees can enter a competition on the night for the chance to win a Beach Hut box to one of Lewes FC’s women’s games, seating up to six people with sweeping views of The Dripping Pan!

Tickets are free and can be downloaded here: https://www.designmynight.com/london/whats-on/date-night/in-bed-with-karen-dobres

The In Bed With sessions will take place on the last Wednesday of every month.
