Yo! To Go concept launches with more openings set for 2020

In a bid to make Japanese dining more accessible to everyone, Japanese food chain Yo! has launched its first Yo! To Go concept to Manchester Piccadilly station, with further openings in other key cities across the UK from early 2020.

The new format sees the removal of the traditional and iconic conveyor belt, to diversify the brand and provide delicious and convenient food, for customers on the go. The reimagined Yo! To Go kiosk makes ordering quicker than ever and with the introduction of interactive technology.

Fitted with state-of-the-art interactive ordering screens, it’s now quicker and easier than ever to order whilst on the move. Customers can build their own meals by choosing from a selection of different sized dishes and bases including; steamed rice, brown rice and noodles.

Yo! To Go is the perfect solution for those feeling peckish on the platform or looking for a quick, delicious meal during their lunchbreak. From sushi platters to hot street food including ramen and new donburi bowls, to a selection of sides, desserts and snacks – the menu is designed to be taken away and enjoyed whilst on the go, with all cravings catered for.

With more sushi platters than imaginable, those on the go will never get bored of the extensive menu. Comprising the likes of yasai rolls, avocado maki and crunchy prawn katsu rolls, the Yo! To Go sushi sets cater for all dietary requirements.

What’s more, when customers need something hot to keep them going on those wet winter days, Yo!’s curries, ramens and donburis are perfect to take back to the office. Try the classic shiitake mushroom ramen or the infamous chicken katsu curry – these hot meals are appetising to both meat eaters and vegans alike.

Yo!’s CEO, Richard Hodgson, said, “Gone are the days where we’re limited to picking up a soggy sandwich when we’re in a hurry, we’ve modified the restaurant to better suit our customer’s needs and habits.

In busy locations and cities, we’ve found that people want the convenience of fast food but without having to compromise on quality and taste and believe that our Yo! To Go format ticks all the boxes”

Yo! To Go Manchester Piccadilly station ushers in the new concept and looks to pave the way for further openings in other key cities across the UK, from early 2020.
