Honest Burgers has teamed up with award-winning London fried chicken brand, Petare, to bring a one-off collaboration burger, the Masa Fried Chicken, to all Honest sites.
Available exclusively from today until 25 November, the Masa Fried Chicken combines buttermilk fried chicken thigh with bacon, American cheese, guava glaze, charred corn slaw, habanero mayo, lettuce and pickles - all served on a soft Honest burger bun with the signature homemade rosemary salted chips.
Ahead of the launch today, Honest Burgers Co-Founder Tom Barton said, “Petare’s fried chicken has won every award going, making its founder Rotsen a London street food star. He’s taken the food he grew up with in Venezuela and put an original spin on it, like his guava glaze and a habanero mayo. It’s got to be tried.”
On the collaboration, Petare founder Rotsen Ibarra said, 'When you start out as a street food trader you look at businesses like Honest Burgers and they encourage you to dream big.
