Senior team expands for yet-to-open Aberdeen hotels

The team for two highly-anticipated new Aberdeen hotels has welcomed Jane Bourque as Cluster Hotel Manager and Debbie Mair steps as Cluster Director of Sales.

The pair will join the recently appointed Cluster General Manager, Mark Leyland, to prepare for the openings of Hilton Aberdeen TECA and Aloft Aberdeen TECA.

Bourque (pictured left) and Mair (right) will bring a combined 40 years’ experience to the hotels, each of which will be run by the UK’s leading independent hotel management company, RBH.

Seasoned hotelier Bourque, who has been working as a General Manager for 13 years – 11 of them in Aberdeen – will work closely with Mark to lead the teams across both properties.

Mair started her journey in Aberdeen at the North East Scotland College studying Hospitality Management, before undertaking several roles across hospitality and tourism – most recently as Director of Sales at Crowne Plaza Aberdeen Airport and Holiday Inn Express Aberdeen Airport.

Bourque said, “I am excited to be embarking on a new venture with two exciting brands in Aberdeen. I believe that the new conference centre will bring a strong wave of tourism, and our two properties really will provide something to suit everyone.

“I’m very much looking forward to expanding our teams across both hotels in preparation for welcoming locals, as well as visitors from further afield, to experience the new, world-class Event Complex Aberdeen as well as our hotels within it.”

Mair added, “I’m thrilled to join the RBH family, and can’t wait to begin building our teams, and to maximise the opportunities afforded by our presence at The Event Complex Aberdeen to create and build relationships with clients across both hotel brands.”
