AG Barr is planning to build a new £20m soft drinks production and distribution facility at Magna Park in Milton Keynes by 2013. As well as a large range of own named drinks, the group is also known for producing Irn-Bru and Rubicon. In the 52 weeks to 28 January 2012, the company has grown revenue and volume ahead of the soft drinks market to produce a strong profit performance, despite operating in a challenging environment. Turnover grew by 6.6%, taking sales revenue to £237m. This represents an organic growth of 27.6% over the last three years.
