QHotels wins clutch of spa awards


Individuals and properties across the QHotels luxury spa hotel portfolio have been recognised for their spa excellence in a glittering awards ceremony in Stratford.

The 2018 Spa Awards from hotel operators RBH, which took place at Stratford Manor, with six big awards categories announced on the night, including Spa of the Year, Spa Therapist of the Year and Operational Spa of the Year, alongside Special Recognition, Best Newcomer and ESPA Beauty Recognition awards.

With 22 luxury spa hotels across the QHotels portfolio, from the UK’s leading independent hotel management company, RBH, competition was fierce.

Mottram Hall Spa in Cheshire was one of the night’s big winners, being named Spa of the Year, with The Spa at The Midland in Manchester and the spa at Slaley Hall in Northumberland taking second and third places in the category.

The Cambridge Belfry’s spa offering won them Operational Spa of the Year, with Hampshire’s Norton Park and Telford Hotel and Golf Resort’s spas taking second and third places.

And following the second annual Spa Therapist of the Year competition, in partnership with luxury beauty brand ESPA, Karolina Barrett of The Nottingham Belfry was named Spa Therapist of the Year, with runners up Lucy Whalley of Mottram Hall, and Molly Birch of Tankersley Manor also securing podium places.
