Drake & Morgan bars serves up limited-edition charity dish

November has been earmarked as Random Acts of Kindness month at Drake & Morgan. The independent bar and restaurant group, with venues in London, Manchester and Edinburgh, is supporting cancer charity Maggie’s this month. And with World Kindness Day falling on 13 November, it couldn’t be more timely.

Throughout November, Drake & Morgan bars will be serving a limited-edition charity dish of smoked almond-crusted sea bream, Andalusian tomato, fennel and lemon (£13.95), with £1 from each dish sold going straight to Maggie’s. Customers feeling extra generous can donate more by texting MAGG13 followed by the amount you wish to donate to 70070.

Louise Richardson, who heads up charity partnerships at Drake & Morgan, said, “It is an honour to be supporting the incredible work that Maggie’s does to support people affected by cancer.

'Maggie’s warm and interactive approach to fundraising, with events such as Maggie’s Culture Crawls echo’s the philosophy of our bars and restaurants, and by working with Maggie’s across our shared homes of London, Manchester and Edinburgh, we hope to raise significant funds this November to bring vital support to those who need it most.”

In June, Drake & Morgan announced a two-year charity partnership with Maggie’s, a cancer charity providing free emotional and practical support to people living with cancer and their families and friends, with 21 Centres across the UK and abroad.
