Mansley acquires sixth luxury serviced apartment site

Strozzi Palace in Cheltenham has been sold to the luxury serviced apartments group, Mansley through leisure property specialists Fleurets.

Strozzi Palace will be the group’s first acquisition in Cheltenham and the sixth site.

The unique Grade II-listed building, located in the centre of Cheltenham, was available on a freehold tenure and sold for an undisclosed price, off a guide price of £1.5m. Built in 1894, the Italian style façade is modelled on the 15th century Palazzo Strozzi in Florence.

Strozzi Palace Boutique Suites provide six large suites which are fully self contained and luxuriously equipped. Furthermore, the accommodation has been TripAdvisor’s number one rated hotel in Cheltenham since 2014.

Chris Irving of Fleurets brokered the deal and commented, “The Strozzi Palace sale is indicative of a new breed of accommodation coming to the marketplace and demonstrates Fleurets’ capabilities to sell unusual and profitable boutique opportunities which may not be considered traditional hotels.”
