A new three-floor rooftop bar at London's at Tobacco Dock, Skylight is opening today with unobstructed views over some of the city's most iconic buildings.
Created in a former multi-storey car park, the venue has room for 600 people and is themed around a British lawn club and features pre-bookable croquet and pétanque courts.
Skylight serves up refreshing pitchers, summer cocktails, spritzes, ciders and beers, along with a street food menu.
There are burgers from We Serve Humans with the signature The Chairman burger, which comes with a brisket and short rib patty, house sauce and pickled red onion jam. Diners can can make the burger ‘angry’ by adding jalapenos and chilli.
There’s also Yiro, serving souvlaki, and Kra Pow, with hot, sour, salty and umami-laden boxes of Thai food. Their signature dish is pad kra pow, which is minced meat stir-fried with holy basil, topped with a crispy fried egg.
