Black Country Living Museum to raise £20m for expansion

Black Country Living Museum is looking to raise £20m for the expansion of its visitor attraction in Dudley, with the creation of 60 jobs.

The proposal is for a significant site development to create a world class visitor attraction welcoming 500,000 visitors per year by 2022.

The scheme includes a new visitor centre, and a 1940s-1960s style town complete with a pub. The plans would involve moving the Tipton Road entrance to Castle Hill and linking the site with attractions such as Dudley Zoological Gardens.
