Chiquito and Frankie & Benny’s are to open next year in intu Eldon Square’s new £25m dining space, Grey's Quarter, in Newcastle.
Chiquito and Frankie & Benny’s have both submitted licence applications to take up units inside Grey’s Quarter - the refurbished Sidgate and High Friar Malls at the shopping complex - which is due to open to the public in autumn 2016.
This will be the first outlet in the North East for Chiquito, which operates restaurants in Durham and intu Metrocentre.
Frankie & Benny’s will take up 5,490sqft, with room for 156 covers across the restaurant, bar and terrace areas.
The two restaurants will join the other foodservice brands already signed up including Tapas Revolution, Handmade Burger Co, TGI Fridays, Giraffe and Bella Italia.
