City Pub Company celebrates turnover rise of 42%


City Pub Company has posted its half-year results to 30 June showing turnover has risen by 42% to £9m, and EBITDA has grown by 75% to £1.25m.

The period saw the firm open two pubs in London - Dalys in the Strand and the Cock & Bottle in Notting Hill - which brought the estate to 22.

After the year-end, the group also purchased another four pubs in Oxford, Brighton, Cambridge and Bristol. It aims to reach around 30 pubs within the next two years.

The group, which was founded in 2011, is divided into two companies - the City Pub Company East and the City Pub Company West.
