Casual dining group, Prezzo is to open in the Essex town of Wickford with work due to start on 7 September this year.
The new restaurant will be occupying the former high street site of Bar Plazma, which was vacated in November last year. The official launch is planned for November.
The Italian restaurant chain already operates branches in the county, which are situated in Billericay and Rayleigh.
