City Pub Co to open first Bristol site in December

The City Pub Company is continuing its expansion with the group opening its first site in Bristol, named the Prince Street Social.

The new city centre pub, which is situated next to the historic Queen’s Square, will undergo a major refurbishment to create a modern food-led brasserie.

Set to open in December, the 120-cover venue will serve food throughout the day in addition to wines, cocktails, local craft beers and draught ales.

The group is split into two firms, City Pub Company West (8 sites) and City Pub Company East (12 sites), and this new pub will come under the umbrella of the West division. The Bath Brewhouse, which is part of the West company, is pictured.

The successful pub business was founded in December 2011 by the established industry entrepreneurs David Bruce and Clive Watson, and John Roberts, former Managing Director of the Fuller’s Beer Company.
