Motcombs, a well-known restaurant and bar located in London's Belgravia, was launched in 1982 by Brian Stein, who had previously managed Scott's Mayfair.
Motcombs in London’s Belgravia is set to expand by opening its first new restaurant in over 40 years, with a new location in St John’s Wood.
The new Motcombs restaurant in St John’s Wood will span 3,000 sq ft and is set to launch in early October. It will accommodate 80 covers, alongside a standalone bar with eight bar stools. Additionally, the venue will feature a covered outdoor terrace, offering seating for 16 guests.
The menus for the new Motcombs restaurant in St John’s Wood have been developed by Veronica Pestana, the head chef of Motcombs Belgravia. Pestana will also take the lead in the opening of the new site.
Dishes will be served from breakfast to dinner, while a New York-style pizza selection will be exclusively available to St John’s Wood diners.
The restaurant will feature artistic decor complete with paintings, a marble-topped bar and two ornate chandeliers.
Ross Anderson, owner of Motcombs, said: “After more than 40 years in Belgravia, we are delighted to be opening the doors to our second restaurant in St John’s Wood. We hope to become another local favourite in our new north London neighbourhood, offering the same warm and familiar charm.”
