January will see the launch of Richmond’s only farm shop; ‘The Fat Badger Farm Shop’ at The Fat Badger, an all-day British drinks and dining room launched by dynamic brother duo Richard and Oliver Gladwin (November 2021).

The Local & Wild farm shop will bring the countryside to local’s doorstep, offering customers a changing seasonal selection of premium British produce all sourced sustainably from small UK growers.

A farm shop, green grocer and restaurant offering ‘ready to roast’ premium readymade meals prepared by chefs, The Fat Badger Farm Shop will be a go-to destination for both Londoners and out-of-towners in the know.

There will be a bountiful green grocer counter offering customers organic produce with any leftovers utilised in the restaurant that day across their ever-changing produce-led menu.

Oliver and Richard Gladwin’s dedication to sourcing ingredients from trusted suppliers such as Lyons Hill Farm and Lindisfarne oysters is central to the Local & Wild brand identity. A place to educate and excite customers, there will also be branded recipe cards on display outlining how to prepare and cook the produce at home.

Alongside the physical farm shop, The Fat Badger Farm Shop will remain an all day dining destination for relaxed mornings and catch ups over great coffee with breakfast including their signature bacon jam flatbread, as well as a daily changing vegetable tart for those stopping by for lunch.

The à la carte offering will also be available in the back of the restaurant for guests looking for a more formal affair, with nose-to-tail small plates.

Combining rustic countryside charm with a specialised offering of produce and cuisine, The Farm Shop will be an creative and interactive hub in the local area. Monthly masterclasses and workshops, including butchery, will be on offer led by Oliver Gladwin and their trusted farmers to provide a holistic overview of their farm to fork ethos.
