Nicol Hughes Foodservice snapped up by Bidcorp UK


Bidcorp UK has announced the acquisition of North West-based wholesaler, Nicol Hughes Foodservice, which becomes the latest addition to Caterfood Buying Group’s successful network of independent businesses.

The comoany will be trading alongside Elite Fine Foods, Caterfood, South Lincs Foodservice and Cimandis, reflecting Bidcorp's strategy of retaining each businesses’ independent ethos, character and approach.

Nicol Hughes Foodservice prides itself on its high level of service, delivering frozen, ambient, chilled and non-food products from its Chester-based multi-temperature site, strategically placed to service the Northwest of England and North Wales.

Andrew Selley, CEO of Bidcorp UK, commented, “We’re thrilled to welcome the team and customers from Nicol Hughes Foodservice into our Bidcorp family. The company, which will move away from Sterling Buying Group at the end of July, will keep its name, branding and independence.
