Warwickshire pub reopens after Wells & Co revamp

The White Horse, situated in the heart of Balsall Common, Warwickshire, has reopened its doors this week, after undergoing a transformation..

The destination dining site closed in April for a full refurbishment and is the latest pub to join the Wells & Co. managed sites roster. With a completely fresh look set for both inside the pub and the beer garden, guests can expect big things when they return to the local to enjoy the warmer weather.

The pub has introduced a new menu featuring a selection of dishes including Garlic Prawns, Honeyed Duck Filo Parcels and classics such as a 21 Day Aged Beef Burger and Fish and Chips. The pub will also offer a pleather of monthly specials, showcasing the chef’s skills and talent.

Room for dessert? It’s a must, with the likes of Ruby Chocolate Crème Brulée and Lemon Meringue Tartlet to choose from.

The pub is also offering lots of sharing plates such as Tear and Share Moroccan Lamb Shoulder for social occasions and a great range of craft beers, interesting wines and a cocktail menu featuring classics with quirks – something to suit everyone.

Tor Humpherston, Director of Operations for Managed Houses at Wells & Co, said, “We’re very excited to give the White Horse back to the people of Balsall Common. The refurbishment has been a long time coming and we are looking forward to inviting guests back and seeing their reactions.”

Luke Hawkins, General Manager added, “The team can’t wait to welcome back regulars and locals to a brand-new look and feel pub, but with all of the warmth and fantastic service you’d want to expect. I’m most excited about the exclusive private dining area that is perfect for social occasions and celebrations.'

Luke finished, 'Here’s to a great summer with a busy beer garden!”
