New distribution center boosts Hoshizaki’s spare parts supply chain

Global refrigeration and ice machine manufacturer Hoshizaki has today unveiled its brand-new distribution centre.

Located in Waardenburg, Netherlands, Hoshizaki’s impressive new site will act as a hub for spare parts orders throughout the UK and Europe, allowing customers to receive any replacement refrigeration or ice machine component quickly and efficiently.

Simon Frost, Director UK & Ireland, Hoshizaki UK enthused, “Hoshizaki’s new spare parts distribution centre allows us to actively elevate our stock control, making it easier for us to maintain stable product availability for customers, even during peak times.”

The new facility is an integral element of Hoshizaki's strategy to further advance the company’s customer service by building synergies, streamlining supply chain operations, and partnering with experienced partners to fulfil this task.

To accomplish this, Hoshizaki will collaborate with logistic service supplier Hitachi Transport Systems (Europe) BV to distribute all spare part orders via one location.

Frank Helling, Head of Logistics at Hoshizaki Europe, added, “When it comes to the spare part order processes, this will be a true game-changer. By channeling all incoming spare part orders to one central point, we utilise existing synergies and create a smooth workflow for all the parties involved.'
